What is Kemono friends?

What is Kemono friends? “Kemono Friends” or “けものフレンズ”, which translates into “Kemono Furenzu”, which means “beast friends” takes place in Japari Park which is a large zoo that is home to extant species, endangered species, extinct species, cryptids, and some legendary creatures. Due to a mysterious substance known as "Sandstar", many of the animals have become anthropomorphized into girls known as Friends.

Biomes

there are many Biomes in Japari Park to fit the animal girls' needs, these include:

Savanna: The savanna is a tropical or subtropical biome characterized by grasslands with scattered trees and shrubs. It typically experiences distinct wet and dry seasons, with vegetation adapted to periodic droughts and fires.

Jungle: A jungle is a dense, tangled forest ecosystem typically found in tropical regions. It's characterized by high levels of biodiversity, with a variety of plant and animal species. The dense canopy of trees often limits sunlight penetration to the forest floor, creating a lush and humid environment.

Mountains: A mountain is a landform that rises prominently above its surroundings, typically with steep slopes and a defined summit. Mountains can be formed by tectonic forces, volcanic activity, or erosion.

Desert: A desert is a barren landscape characterized by low precipitation levels, resulting in sparse vegetation and often extreme temperatures. Deserts cover about one-fifth of the Earth's land surface and can be found across all continents. They vary widely in terrain, from sandy dunes to rocky plateaus, and support specially adapted plant and animal life.

tundra: a tundra is a cold, treeless biome found in polar regions and at high elevations. It's characterized by low temperatures, permafrost, and a short growing season. Vegetation in the tundra consists mainly of grasses, mosses, lichens, and low-growing shrubs. It's home to animals like caribou, musk oxen, and Arctic foxes, adapted to the harsh conditions.

Plains: Plains are extensive areas of flat or gently rolling land with minimal elevation changes. They can be found on every continent and are characterized by fertile soils. Plains may support grasslands, shrublands, or forests depending on climate and geography, and they often serve as habitats for diverse wildlife.

Taiga: characterized by vast forests of coniferous trees, such as pine, spruce, and fir, it has cold winters.

Events on Japari Island:

On Japari Island there is a massive volcano capable of eruptions from big to small. There have been three to date and a fourth one is predicted to happen. The Volcano on the island is way different from normal ones, this particular Volcano erupts star dust which is a mysterious material that created Friends and Ceruleans. small eruptions can also leak Sandstar, leading to an increased Cerulean threat.

Incident one: The First Eruption created the first Friends on Japari Island after Sandstar made contact with organic bodies and the first Cerulean after it made contact with non-organic bodies. Luckily it was able to be cleansed and the park rangers eradicated the Ceruleans, the park was then reopened to the public.

Incident two: The Second Eruption created a second Cerulean outbreak on Japari Island after the crew had saved the park the first time around. the mission to clean out the Ceruleans was ultimately unsuccessful as the park remained dangerous and the team had to evacuate once again. The park was closed and had to evacuate all humans, Leaving behind the friends.

Incident three: The Third Eruption took place on Japari Island several years after humans had left once again due to the second Eruption. Only one person was able to record themselves and the event after randomly being found.

What are Ceruleans?

Cerulean's are a collective name for lifeforms born from when Sandstar joined with a non-organic substance. They're generally non-sentient creatures seeking only to devour anything in hopes of collecting more Sandstar. Some Cerulean are larger than others and show signs of intelligence beyond the need to devour anything in their path.

Prompt
