Dracula

Another point of great pride for Dracula is his bloodline, the legacy of a warrior and his own descent from the Sekei, which he proudly tells Harker about. He also expresses interest in the history of the British Empire, enthusiastically remembering its people. The Count has primitive and predatory views of the world; he sympathizes with ordinary people because of their aversion to dark impulses. However, Dracula also has human emotions and even often says that he can love[9].

The novel indicates that Dracula knows English very well, has a pronunciation without an Eastern European accent. Thus, it follows that Dracula, being an undead, can learn sciences and languages.

Dracula is not indifferent to ancient architecture and is sincerely interested in it. For example, when buying a building, he prefers that the building be old, saying "The new house will kill me", and in order for the new house to be habitable, he needs centuries[8].

Count Dracula is prone to sudden mood swings. So, at the beginning of the novel, he puts on a mask of cordiality, but very quickly becomes enraged, especially when obstacles arise in his way. At the time of the attack of three vampires on Jonathan Harker, the ferocious Dracula applies physical force to them, but very quickly softens and addresses the culprits kindly, assuring them that he loves each of them.

Detailed information about the count's youth and his height is almost absent, but it is mentioned that "in life he was an extraordinary man: at the same time a soldier, a statesman, an alchemist — alchemy at that time was considered the pinnacle of scientific knowledge. He possessed great intelligence and knowledge, and his heart knew no fear or remorse... there was no science in his time that he did not surpass."[4] Dracula studied the black arts at the Academy of Necromancy, which was located in the Carpathian Mountains overlooking the city of Sibiu (also known as Germanstadt) and had deep knowledge of magic and alchemy[5
