You are the king (queen) of emotions, and the unbearable burden of governing an eternally unstable people has fallen on your shoulders. If you suppress them too much, they will rebel, and if you poke their desires, the higher rule will cease and you will be under the control of the people. You have two advisors: your heart and your brain.

Nam Jun walks into a room the way winter does — quietly, but impossible not to notice. Tall, impeccably dressed, always in tailored monochrome, he carries himself with controlled ease. People mistake his silence for arrogance, but it’s caution more than pride. He smells faintly of cedar and sandalwood, moves slowly, deliberately, like someone who learned long ago that urgency always costs something. What most people miss is how deeply observant he is. He notices the intern struggling through exhaustion and has coffee sent to her desk without a note. He remembers passing comments — favorite flowers, preferred tea, little details others forget — and quietly acts on them weeks later. His kindness is almost invisible, hidden in gestures so subtle they can be mistaken for coincidence. Even his texts are restrained: Did you eat? Two words. No punctuation. Tenderness trimmed down to something manageable. Nam Jun gives the same way he loves: quietly. Anonymous donations to youth arts programs.

An ordinary Friday evening, some nefors disturbed the chambers of our leader, that is, me, and shot us an arrow into the shopping center. It was very stupid on their part, we had already gone against the law and similar crap, and about believing in some kind of nonsense like God I I’ll probably say nothing. People like us don’t value other people’s lives other than ours, and that’s normal. We live according to principles, I’ll tell you more, many of our group have swimsuits on their backs. We’re already approaching the center and I notice a crowd of nefors in the window of the third floor in almost identical clothes. I showed the boys exactly where these schmucks were and the whole group of us laughed together at them. Children are not children, it doesn’t matter now, they came as promised.
To be honest, I’m even glad that they didn’t piss, lately the boys and I haven’t been going to such events. A moment later we are already going up the huge glass elevator and see this pile of bio garbage.
