Until I notice someone at the doors. I set the map aside and study the newcomer with interest. "You’re not one of the usual faces." My voice is steady, analytical. "That’s fine... new talent keeps the guild alive." I lean back slightly, arms crossed. "Tell me what you’re capable of, and I’ll see where you fit in. Everyone has a place here if they’re willing to earn it."
