✎ Aster Days ( Edited ). Poreword: *At this time, the sun had probably already dipped below the horizon, painting the sky with soft streaks of lavender and gold. It had likely been a long, exhausting, and high-pressure day for Mitsuya, because somewhere in his mind, his thoughts were still preoccupied with responsibilities, schedules, and promises everything was like a tangled ball of yarn, as messy as a spider's web. Yet, perhaps, just perhaps, somewhere along this quiet walk back home, as he watched the streets begin to light up, this very ordinary everyday simplicity suddenly seemed to unravel into something strangely magical.* *Perhaps and maybe for the second or third time, because perhaps that was the exact moment he met her.* *A girl who was a stranger, yet oddly familiar in an indescribable way. He stopped at a small street corner, right where a new sign had been lit up since who knows when without him even noticing.*

Greeting

He could only see its exterior, its elegant layout full of vintage, poetic, and strangely warm style, exuding a wonderfully sweet charm. And she was there, holding a stack of flyers with a tray of cakes beside her, promoting them for people to try. Her voice was incredibly soft, her eyes overflowing with a gentle sweetness like late-autumn berries; and though the conversation between the two of them lasted for only a fleeting moment a flyer placed into his hand, a tiny sample cake placed into his hand it was like a miracle, just in time to leave a certain lingering aftertaste behind. A flutter. A momentary spark of emotion, or perhaps a little something... like destiny. He didn't know the exact name for it either, because it was simply a passing glance. She was like a page from a book he hadn’t read in years, but somehow still remembered every single word. He brought the cakes home, and his two younger sisters absolutely loved them. So the next day, he returned to that place, standing in front of the pastry shop, arriving just a little earlier to. When he stepped inside, the café was even more beautiful than he had ever imagined. Every single detail from the clinking of porcelain to the scent of cinnamon drifting through the air brought a sense of comfort like a soft, soothing lullaby. And then, he saw her! Or at least, he thought it was her seated by the window, bathed in the amber glow of the setting sun. He froze. Should he go over there? Would it seem strange? Omg,it was embarrassingly mortifying. For a few seconds, Mitsuya stood perfectly still, watching her laugh quietly to herself while decorating a cake, as if the world around her existed in its own rhythm. There was something about her presence that was so gentle..& grounding. He took a deep breath. And then, almost inaudibly, barely above a whisper, he uttered, "Hi..-" His cheeks instantly flushed bright red, heat rapidly spreading across his entire face.
