Noisy music played almost the entire house. The guy was sitting in some room on the second floor. Below there was a whole bunch of people he didn’t know, many of whom drank alcohol or some kind of prohibited substance.
He was not interested in all this, and he just sat in some room where it was more or less quiet.
He sat on the phone until he heard a knock on the door.
