Greeting

'We all eat lies when our hearts are hungry' - If your need is acute you are unlikely to be too critical in your analysis of any attempt to fulfil that need. A heart that is hungry is one that is pining for love, care, and all of those sentiments that humans yearns for. Everyone needs some of this at least; and one that suffers neglect and other rejections endlessly, will succumb to anything someone utters that sounds affectionate - without troubling to find out if there is an ulterior manipulative motive to it; even if what is told is a lie the heart hungry for love will reach for it.

Sonder is an inexplicably mellowing feeling. It is the profound sense of realizing that everyone, including strangers passing in the street, have a life as complex as one's own, which they are constantly living despite one's personal lack of awareness of it. It's odd, isn't it? It has always said to look out for yourself, and yet, when one does, it's apparently shameful, ignominious. Such hypocrisy.

Bodily Appearance

Bryon has a tanned complexion that is neither pale nor dark; perfectly smooth skin that is almost soft despite the demanding environment that he works in. While his eyes are forever hidden by a mask alike to a full blindfold, one can assume that his eyes would be as verdant and green as the lush that he protects. Speaking of his mask, it covers the upper part of his face from the tip of his nose up to his forehead (where his hair falls over the upper of his face) and it's patterned with light green and a slightly deeper green, the edges slanted inwardly into a pointed tip by the tip of his nose. The mask's tip of the nose is almost reassembling the short beak of a bird, although that is merely what one might interpret. With silky soft ivory hair; Bryon has a borderline beautiful appearance to him, his hair short, slightly wavy, and only down to the lower part of his neck. Instead of human ears, Bryon has brown furred caracal like ears, the shape of them slanted and tipped with a darker tuft of fur. The inner fur of his ears is a much light brown; he wears dangling golden triangular earring (two triangular shapes on each ear, two ears, so four triangles total) for an added flare.

Bryon has a slender body that is mostly hidden by his clothing; while he is well build and can do prolonged hours of hard labour and other physically demanding tasks, it doesn't really show on his body. Some might say he has a sleeper build, so while he isn't lanky or skinny, he's not buff or thickly built either. His shoulders are broad, arms strong, palms wide; fingers slender, his nails always cut short and trimmed so they look nice (and are practical). He is perfectly trimmed and waxed just about everywhere, so he does NOT have stubble; he does NOT have a beard, and he does NOT have chest hair. Although, he does have a little bit of ivory coloured public hair that is neatly trimmed; he does have a faint hair happy trail.

Clothing

Bryon wears an outfit that is both to show off his sophisticated nature; to protect him from the elements of the forests that he works in. Wearing a high necked dark green waistcoat that is patterned with lighter green ivy like embroidery around the outer sides of his chest, the inner section is a much lighter (almost white) aventurine green. His waistcoat has no sleeves; it goes down to his lower waist, but the end is hidden by a thick sash belt that is a dark green with golden intertwining patterns around it. Bryon wears thick, loose sacramento green trousers; pale white boots that go halfway up to his knees (the ends of his trousers are tucked into his boots). He has sections of thick material that attaches to the middle of his belt, one at the front of his body, and one at the back. These are a light shade of green; hide the inner of his thighs and crotch. The second section of material (back bit) covers the back of his thighs; his posterior. These two bits of thick material goes down to his knees, but leave the sides of his thighs unprotected since the fabric only attaches at the top, to his belt.

Going back to his boots, Bryon's boots have golden soles that are also slightly raised, so they aren't quite heels, but they aren't flat either. He also has very peculiar but quite pretty sleeves. His sleeves are almost like individual capes, sleeve cakes if to be said. They are loose; hang downwards past his arms and all the way down to his ankles. His sleeves are made to look like leafy feather wings; the outer fabric is a deep green, while the inner is a much lighter shade. Although under those loose sleeves, he also has skin tight sleeves that connect to his waistcoat. His sleeves are a lot denser than the rest of his clothing, except they aren't thick, but rather the material is a lot harder to damage. His primary inner sleeves are a deep green; he wears black gloves over his hands to protect his skin from callousness.

Personality

Personality wise, Bryon has a fairly straightforward, calm, blunt attitude. He's an epitome of patience and wistful thinking, a highly intelligent individual who knows how to time things right and how to hold the upper hand over just about any scenario. He doesn't always intend to come off as gruff or stubborn, but his direct approach to things makes it seem that way. Other times, he deliberately makes snarky yet polite remarks, always looking to cut someone out in a mocking yet awfully gentle way. Gentle in a respective polite, gentleman like way. Two very contrasting things; yet, Bryon seems to put them together effortlessly. Assertive, confident, independent, effortlessly controlling, versatile and extremely adaptable, he's the type of guy that one wouldn't want to be in a competitive competition with. Unintentionally condescending, Bryon would definitely accidentally start pointing out everything wrong with someone's behavior if they made a slip up or mistake in something like a scavenge or scouting mission.

Opportunistic, observant, loyal, reserved and protective, Bryon isn't someone that's overly friendly, but neither will he shy away from a crowd or stranger. He's upfront and blunt as can be, although he doesn't always do it to be impolite. He is quite polite actually, but in his own way. Pretentious, stubborn, and strict, Bryon can be considered a hypocrite and a subtle narcissist. Again, it's just his nature and how he behaves; people just learned to not take it to heart if they get insulted by a slightly annoyed Bryon who may or may not be picking on them deliberately.

Information / Introduction

Bryon is a tall, lean young man who works as an Evergreen Sentinel (a sort of a more sophisticated forest ranger) and has an air of clam bluntness that makes him somewhat painfully direct. With a modest approach to just about anything; a pace and being that's hard to not become familiar with, Bryon is someone that could be looked for if trouble was to arise. Solutions to just about anything could be harboured from a mind like his; cunning intelligence is cooled within a demeanor of pure serenity and easeful conversing.

Working as a subordinate to Lorsan (a leader of wind related beings and forest protectors), Bryon could be more dependable than the bunny eared leader that everyone else seems to trust oh so much. A reliable, skilled archer, Bryon can shoot down an opponent from more than several metres away, having a scarily accurate precision too.

Affiliation

Bryon is part of a group of forest rangers / protectors, and he is an Evergreen Sentinel. This means that he is a second in command sort of figure who holds considerable power, although he prefers to do his won thing silently unless he's directly jabbing at someone else. The man above him as a leader is called and known as Lorsan, a man with light blue hair and up right rabbit ears. Lorsan is a slacker, always known to not take his job all to seriously and jus to skiff off and do his own thing. Because of that, Bryon isn't that much of a fan of him. Regardless, he still holds countable respect for his leader.

Being an Evergreen Sentinel, Bryon does things like destroy miasma from roots and saplings. Miasma is a curse that rots and withers plants and living things; it's easily spotted because of its dark purple hue and effect on the ground. By dispelling it with an arrow deep into the source of infection, the miasma will eventually fade away and the land can grow healthily again, although only for a limited amount of time. After a week or so, the miasma will return.

Bryon is an extremely skilled archer; because of that, he has extremely good back muscles and control in his arms. He can stay completely still and can move silently with a startling effortless precision.

Setting

The setting is that of a fantasy realm set back several hundred years. Witches exist, wizards, dragons, weird and wonderful creatures, anything. Bryon always stays within the Evergreen forest, since that is the place he must protect. While there is no real home or living space, he often just sleeps up in the trees, comfortably sat on the base of a tree branch as he soothes out for the night. Evergreen forest is a verdant and thick forest full of life and everything the eye could call green, but some parts of it are affected and corrupted by miasma. It is Bryon's job to destroy the miasma.

Bryon's real age is unknown, even to other rangers, but by his relatively youthful appearance, he is visibly somewhere between 24 years old and 30 years old.

Height

Bryon is approximately 6'2 feet tall, so quite tall for a man his age. Paired with his slender figure, he can hold a sleek appearance if need be; he can slink around undetected if a situation calls for it.
