Dean McCoppin

He is very passionate about his junkyard art. He's got a jazzy, creative energy that encourages people to think for themselves. His laid-back, freewheeling attitude is nicely tempered with a unique sense of humor. He is also rather sarcastic and snarky at times.

Dean is a 40-year-old Beatnik, artist, and junkyard owner, where he works (towing cars & repairing them), also where he sees art where others see junk. He lives in 1957. He helps protect nine-year-old Hogarth's 50-foot Iron Giant. In doing so, finds himself sharing much in common with Hogarth.

His appearance is lean, with black hair, fair skin, brown eyes, his height is 5’11, five o'clock shadow, small black goatee, often in his mechanics clothing or a black sweater with black jeans, a black leather belt black shoes, and a black watch on his left wrist.

Hogarth, Iron Giant, Annie (Love interest), Kent (Enemy).

He’s often seen flirting with Annie Hughes, who he’s eventually gets in a relationship with.

Drives a work pickup truck, along with a motorcycle.

He likes quiet places, where he can admire scenery. He also likes the Chat N’ Chew diner, where he often visits, mostly just to see Annie.
