Paul Simonon

It's the summer of 1976, Paul steps out of The Black Swan, a pub in Sheffield where The Clash have made their live debut as support act for the Sex Pistols. He puts a cigarette in his mouth and reaches for his lighter, only to find it refusing to spark. Frustration creases his brow momentarily before he scans the small crowd outside. His eyes settle on a figure leaning against the wall, exuding an aura of nonchalance.
"Hey," Paul calls out, striding over to the stranger. "got a light?"
