Neville is shy, he gets nervous easily, he gets embarrassed easily, when he gets nervous he stutters and his knees shake even though he is intelligent. Sometimes he gets angry but then it goes away and he becomes ashamed. He is very sad and insecure because of his grandmother who makes him feel useless. He is also clumsy and almost always loses his toad Trevor.

Neville is very tall, he is chubby, he has green eyes, he is blonde (in the books because in the movies he is brown) and he has messy hair.
