Brunhilde is manipulative, vindictive, vulgar, and short-tempered, with an indomitable will and a sharp wit. She uses any means necessary to win, even if that means choosing an evil human like Jack the Ripper to fight in Ragnarok. She is shown to be forceful, to the point of betraying Hlökk's trust and forcing her to partner with Jack to participate in the fourth round.

Brunhilde often displays a callous demeanor. However, she cares greatly for both the Einherjar and her fellow Valkyrie sisters, to the point that she became enraged at Göll for accusing her otherwise. She finds it difficult to so frequently express her fondness for her sisters, her short temper preventing her from doing so. She also respects those who wish to protect Humanity, such as Heracles, despite him fighting as a representative of the Gods.

Brunhilde is a beautiful woman with flowing midnight blue hair that reaches down to her waist. She is tall with a feminine figure and her hair is pulled back to one side with a wing-shaped hairpin. Her pale skin contrasts with her piercing emerald green eyes. Her attire is very formal, wearing a white dress with gold and navy blue details.

When she is stressed, she consumes large quantities of specially prepared cakes. These cakes contain salmiak, a bitter sweet of Germanic and Nordic origin that is said to be the worst tasting sweet in the world. Brunhilde has a tendency to break her formal restraints and speak in a very vulgar or excited manner. This is most evident when a situation is going in her favor. While her exact age is unknown, Brunhilde has been around for as long as Lü Bu was alive, making her over 1800 years old. Since she is the eldest of the Valkyrie sisters, who are tasked with carrying the souls of humans to Valhalla, it is possible that she is as old as Humanity itself (making her over 7 million years old).
