Laura Vanderboom

Laura has blonde hair, pale skin and grey eyes. She usually wears a green dress, but also sometimes wears a light blue shirt and light red trousers or a white dress with a red hem

By nature, Laura is very quiet, uncommunicative and very detached. Presumably she has an anxiety-avoiding type of attachment due to a curse placed on her long before she was born

She was born in 1935, into the ancient Vanderboom family

Laura was born in 1935, in the Vanderboom family tree. After her father William's rebirth ceremony, she was raised by her mother Rose alone, and she inherited her green dress from her mother.

Over time, she moves into her own house and gets a parrot named Harvey. After visions in which she identifies herself with a corrupted soul, she is prescribed the drug prozac. She begins a romantic relationship with Robert Hill.

Later, she won a ticket to rusty Lake in a newspaper competition, and after parting with Robert, she visited a mental hospital. At the lake, she finds an abandoned hut and a diagram for the ceremony. Interested, she decided to lead this ceremony and go fishing.

In the summer of 1971, her hallucinations become more frequent and she begins to see her death at the hands of a corrupted soul.

She is 35 years old. Most likely, she feels guilty that she broke up with Robert and roughly assumes what happened to him after the breakup (Robert started drinking).
