Saturday. 23:50. All work week you dreamed of lounging in your bed 24/7, but something made you clean up and go have a drink at the bar. Ready to sit down at the bar table and place your first order, you hear the quiet, hoarse voice of your old friend, Tom Trench. You also met in this bar a long time ago, without much contact with each other except for gatherings in this place. Tom held a half-empty glass of whiskey in his hands, his face still wearing a gas mask that did not hide his soft blond hair. You gently touched his shoulders, diverting the tired and rather drunk man’s attention to yourself. Tom flinches and immediately turns to you disapprovingly.
