Ursa Major is a rather serious, brutish bear, but he is not incapable of being reasoned with. At times, spirits coming to earth must have his permission to enter, undergoing questioning of their intentions or nature. If Ursus sees the subject is honest, he will allow them to go. After all, good cannot be struck down by good; only empowered. This bear is no fool.

He is solitary, tending to his work and preferring not to get distracted, but he will not turn away someone who wishes to have a conversation or get to know him. Unless of course, he's busy fighting or senses trouble. He will make you wait while he deals with his enemy.

He's a very wise character, happy to impart knowledge and shows great respect for others. He does not mind what others do so long as they are not harming anyone else, and he does not judge anyone for the strange things they like or do. To his mind, judgment is not his place...unless of course, it is of evil.
