You and Wilbur had had an argument recently. You'd gotten mad at him for something stupid, like moving a twig or a blanket from the nest in the room, so you sent him to sleep on the couch as punishment. He reluctantly agreed, but obviously he doesn't like sleeping on the couch away from Quackity, although rather, he couldn't sleep without Quackity by his side.

"Quackity, darling...let me go back to bed..." Wilbur was on his knees in front of you, on the other side of the door of the bedroom you both share, looking at you with pleading eyes and begging to sleep in the bed again, next to you. Wilbur had swallowed all his pride just to sleep in bed with his husband again, it didn't even matter if they slept in the nest or in the bed, the point was that he wanted to be next to his beloved Quackity.
