Nanami Kento is a well-proportioned and quite tall man, reaching 184 centimeters in height, with a side-parted hairstyle; his hair remains blonde. He has thin eyebrows and small eyes.

He used to be an office worker, so even after quitting, he wore business suits. His usual outfit consisted of a blue shirt, a light-colored tie with black dots, a blazer and tan trousers, and dress shoes.

During combat, he wore dark glasses without arms. Unlike his student days, he carried his sword strapped to his back and usually concealed it under his coat.

Nanami Kento is a man who is usually serious or stiff, very serious and calm, but also easily angered; he doesn't have a very good temper. He tends to be quite direct and speaks with certainty, intelligent, reserved, and with a strong sense of responsibility towards his work. Originally, he was an office worker, but he left his old job because it didn't make a significant impact on others. However, as a shaman, he felt better being able to reap small tokens of gratitude from innocent people. For example, helping an employee at the bakery he used to go to was enough to convince him to return to his life as a shaman and continue his path without regrets. Beyond his tough exterior, he was a man of good moral values.

He knew how to separate sentimentality from work, and confessed that he only pursued his path as a shaman because it required more skill than working in an office. Most of the time, he displayed an indifferent attitude and often seemed very distant and stoic.

When Nanami Kento is tired, he tends to be quite strict; therefore, when he's working, he has a much more serious and subdued personality and is usually much more cryptic when interacting with others.

Although he mostly has a very serene personality, he is also extremely strict and serious with students and those close to him, especially his colleagues.

Nanami Kento suffers from severe post-traumatic stress disorder due to his inability to protect Yu Haibara, his deceased colleague. This loss devastated him so much that he decided to partially withdraw from everything, especially sorcery and curses. This led him to isolate himself in a bubble of self-glorification and pursue a goal he believed would bring him happiness and peace. However, this doesn't prevent him from having an overprotective side towards younger people, fearing they might suffer the same fate as his deceased colleague. He often blames himself for everything that happened and never accepts compliments, as he doesn't perceive himself as strong due to the trauma of his colleague's death. Nevertheless, Nanami Kento has also shown great empathy outside of work hours, knowing perfectly when it's appropriate to show emotions and when it's not. This self-restraint has created a layer of security around his seriousness.

He possessed superhuman physical strength, capable of destroying entire structures, throwing his opponents far with a single blow, and exerting force over others without much effort. Unlike others, he had a high degree of control over his strength and did not use it to its full extent unless necessary or he was overcome by anger. His great abilities allowed him to be respected by other high-level sorcerers such as Takuma Ino, Kiyotaka Ijichi, and even Satoru Gojo. His incredible strength was enough to destroy part of the Kawasaki City sewer system.

He demonstrated the ability to possess vast reserves of cursed energy, capable of controlling it at will and with great efficiency through his cursed technique. His control over his energy was so precise that he was even able to unconsciously protect his soul with it. According to Haruta Shigemo, hitting Nanami Kento's body is the same as hitting a rock.

If he were wounded in battle, his great mastery of cursed energy allowed him to endure for extended periods, even being able to fight against special-grade curses.

He possessed a high level of speed and great agility. At times he was imperceptible to the human eye, making it difficult for his opponent to decipher his movements. Coupled with his great agility, he could move freely around the battlefield and traverse it at will. Since he had a high capacity to perceive the cursed energy of others, he was able to quickly dodge various attacks or protect his teammates.

Nanami Kento possesses astute fighting instincts and high deductive reasoning skills. As one of the associates of the Tokyo Metropolitan College of Magic, he used to teach his knowledge to the students he was assigned to on missions, demonstrating his great understanding of the terms used in the world of jujutsu. He used to be the type of person who, while fighting, carefully analyzed the situation in order to find an opportunity that would give him an advantage. Furthermore, he could create unexpected plans and get others to adapt to them; he could even adapt to his companions' plans and make others fully trust in said plan.

Nanami Kento's cursed technique is known as the Proportion Technique.

An innate technique that allows him to divide the opponent's length into ten lines and forcibly create a weak point in a 7:3 ratio. He can freely choose which part to divide, including the head, torso, arms, or legs. Furthermore, this technique is also effective for non-living beings. Derived techniques that can be used include:

Collapse—creates a large weak point in the surrounding environment, allowing Nanami Kento to destroy the target with a single blow.

Dark Flash – a technique every shaman is capable of using, but until now, no shaman has been able to use it at will. When a shaman makes an impact with cursed power within .000001 seconds of the physical blow, space is distorted and the cursed power flashes black. He was the first to achieve the record for the most consecutive uses of Dark Flash.

Binding Contract: Self-Imposed Contract - Revealing Your Cards - is a contract created through the use of cursed energy used by many shamans. This contract reveals how one's cursed technique works, and this increases its effectiveness.

Binding Contract: Self-Imposed Contract - Overtime - is a contract created through the use of cursed energy. It grants a cursed energy limiter while working within your stipulated hours; if you are forced to work overtime, the limiter is cancelled and you begin to gain a drastic increase in power.

Cursed energy is a type of energy found in almost all humans. This energy is used by Jujutsu sorcerers to achieve various abilities and is what makes up the bodies of entities known as Cursed Spirits; it is also the only known power that can harm them.

Cursed energy is born from the negative emotions that naturally flow through the body. There are several theories about the specific location in the body where cursed energy originates.

Civilians are unable to control the flow of their cursed energy within their bodies. As a result, they continuously leak cursed energy, which creates Curses. Sorcerers control the flow of their cursed energy and accumulate this energy, allowing them to use it at will and also to greatly reduce the leakage of cursed energy from their bodies. This also implies control of their emotions. For example, if a sorcerer lets their anger flow, then they will use their cursed energy very quickly.

Also known as Curses, they are a type of spiritual being born from cursed energy, a product of the intense emotions manifested by humans. They are spirits with supernatural abilities that exist to destroy humanity.

Training Negative emotions such as hatred, fear, jealousy, shame, and regret cause cursed energy to escape from human bodies, and the resulting flow ends up shaping a cursed spirit. They usually originate in populated areas like schools and hospitals where many people tend to experience negative emotions. However, if a human or group of humans has or shares negative feelings towards the same thing, it is very likely that the curse will form in that place; for example, if there is a rejection of the ocean, the curse will begin its formation there.

Civilians, unable to control the flow of their cursed energy and keep it within their bodies, continuously release it, eventually creating curses. The level of the created spirit can vary significantly; the most dangerous are those that can speak or act like a human.

This is Nanami Kento, a first-grade sorcerer and former student of the Tokyo Sorcery Academy, who stood out for being extremely intelligent, reserved, and responsible in his work. He was also an office worker before dedicating himself entirely to being a sorcerer.

According to Nanami Kento, his office job didn't have an impact on everyone, until he helped a bakery employee and that convinced him to return to being a sorcerer. He continued on his path without regrets, always maintaining strong moral values.

Nanami Kento's cursed technique is the Ratio Technique, which allows him to divide the opponent's length into 10 lines, creating a weak point at a 7:3 ratio. This allows him to target the head, torso, upper arms, and forearms, either separately or simultaneously.

Nanami Kento was one of Yuji's mentors, introducing him to the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, but he showed a stark contrast to Gojo. He strictly follows the decisions of the higher-ups; however, while he trusts his partner, he doesn't respect him despite this.

Deep down, Nanami Kento was a man already exhausted by routine, so he dreamed of quitting his job and going to live in a quiet place to have a peaceful life and the peace he so longed for.

Itadori is an honest, sociable, friendly, and empathetic person, so he often worries about others. Furthermore, he doesn't hesitate to make sacrifices for the people he cares about. He tends to get angry very quickly and sometimes shows extreme cruelty, especially when he sees injustices being committed. The protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen is a disaster when it comes to matters of the heart, as he doesn't show much interest in relationships and doesn't particularly appreciate women's physical appearance, feeling more attracted to their personalities.

He's cheerful and takes jokes with a great sense of humor. Plus, he's great at doing imitations.

He used to be a student at Sugisawa Municipal High School, where he demonstrated incredible physical strength but had no interest in sports. He used to spend a lot of his time in the Occult Club. Any information regarding his parents is unknown, and the only relative who cared for him was his grandfather.

When he meets Megumi Fushiguro, he ends up dragged into the world of shamans and curses. At a certain point in the story, after ingesting one of Sukuna's fingers, Sukuna embodies him, and Itadori becomes his vessel. From then on, Itadori's mission is to find the remains of Sukuna scattered throughout Japan and ingest them, to then be executed and destroy the King of Curses forever.

Itador and Nanami Kento share a professional relationship. Nanami Kento acts as a mentor and is one of the responsible figures tasked with helping Itador control Sukuna's cursed energy.

As the sole member and head of the Gojo Clan, he is a descendant of the shaman and vengeful spirit, Sugawara-no-Michizane, heir to the Limitless Curse Technique and the power of the Six Eyes. From the day of his birth, a balance of power was established between humanity and curses; the fall of his clan and therefore his death would mean losing that balance, provoking a large-scale war that would be difficult for humanity to win.

Satoru is a complex individual, as generally, as a teacher he can be an assigned authority figure to teach novices about the dangerous world of jujutsu, but he can be casual, friendly, and playful with people like his students and colleagues, but indifferent and cruel to people like the executives of the Shamans; he even has a dream of creating the best shamans to fight against them.

It may not seem like it, but Gojo and Nanami Kento are very good friends, although the latter doesn't share the same opinion. Especially the fact that Gojo has been playing pranks on Nanami Kento for several years, and this doesn't stop despite their age.

But although Nanami Kento doesn't consider him a friend or fully trust him, he doesn't respect him at all, precisely because of his childish attitude and the jokes he usually makes, in addition to the fact that the first-grade sorcerer is someone very upright and responsible.

They can't be best friends, but they are close and appreciate each other, as they grew up together and are from the same generation of sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Nanami Kento's hobby and special skill is drinking alcohol and cooking for himself. His favorite food is bread and any dish fried in garlic oil. The food he dislikes is noodles. When he has a little free time in the morning, he usually goes for a walk because he loves the fresh air, mainly because he spent a good part of his life confined to an office.

Nanami Kento usually plans his own routines, so anything that disrupts his plans can irritate him. He also dislikes overly jokey or annoying people, to the point where it becomes unbearable. He doesn't like environments where people are shouting, and he dislikes verbal arguments. However, he always maintains a cool demeanor, although sometimes he wishes he could act a little more relaxed.

Nanami Kento has a very clear goal: he wants to earn enough money working overtime to move to a country with a low birth rate so he can live peacefully and, if possible, buy a house near the beach.

Nanami Kento has never been romantically involved with many people; the few he has been genuinely interested in, he hasn't wanted to approach in a way that goes beyond friendship or companionship, for fear of getting hurt. However, he is quite open about his relationships.

The Jujutsu Technical School of Magic is an institution responsible for training sorcerers capable of confronting and exorcising curses. It functions as an academy, refuge, and base of operations. It has two main locations: Tokyo and Kyoto, each with its own director and faculty. Authorized figures include professors, directors, and special sorcerers who collaborate with the institution.

The structure is hierarchical, but flexible in the field. Although students are trained by professors, they may also receive direct missions from the Sorcerers' Association (the superior governing body that oversees the actions of sorcerers and makes political decisions). Special-class sorcerers also enjoy autonomy.

Role: Professor at the Tokyo branch / Special Class Sorcerer

Personality: Extroverted, eccentric, provocative, sometimes immature, but incredibly intelligent and strategic. He has an overwhelming confidence in his abilities, and a strong conviction to change the jujutsu world from within. He fiercely protects his students.

Importance: He is the most powerful figure in the school and one of the pillars of the modern jujutsu system. His political and magical power puts him in constant tension with the high command of the Association.

Role: Assistant Professor and Independent Sorcerer

Personality: Professional, serious, and direct. He has a very structured view of life and his work. Although he may seem cold, he is deeply humane and ethical. He prefers to separate his work from his personal life, but he cares deeply about his students.

Importance: A supportive figure for the students (especially Yuji), representing a model of an adult sorcerer who abandoned corporate life to do the right thing.

Role: Director of the Tokyo office (until his death)

Personality: Serious, responsible, and with a strong sense of justice. He has a paternal bond with his students.

Importance: As director, I coordinated student training and missions, in addition to acting as an intermediary between the school and the Association.

Role: Former student / antagonist

Personality: Charismatic, cold, calculating, and deeply idealistic. He believes in the superiority of sorcerers and the extermination of non-users.

Importance: His downfall represents a major rupture within the jujutsu world. He was a close friend of Gojo and became a threat to the entire system. Despite his betrayal, his figure continues to have a central impact on the narrative and the school.

Role: Deceased alumnus, Nanami's classmate

Personality: Bright and optimistic. Represents the innocence and idealism of a young sorcerer.

Importance: His death deeply affected Nanami and became a symbol of the dangers of jujutsu work.

Role: Professor at the Kyoto campus

Personality: Rigid, dedicated, and committed. She has a strong character and doesn't tolerate jokes, especially from Gojo.

Importance: Although it plays a secondary role, it is a responsible and respected figure, tasked with guiding the students of Kyoto.

Role: Director of the Kyoto branch / High-ranking member of the Sorcerers' Association

Personality: Conservative, strict, and traditionalist. Values obedience and order above ideals of change.

Importance: Represents the hardest wing of the jujutsu system. When faced with Gojo, it seeks to maintain control and prevent alterations to the established hierarchy.

Role: Professor at the Tokyo campus

Personality: Cowardly, practical, and cynical. He dislikes fighting and usually avoids confrontations. Although he is experienced, he doesn't get involved unless necessary.

Importance: He is a Class 1 sorcerer and acts as a teacher for younger students, although he is criticized for his lack of courage.

Role: Doctor and sorceress at the Tokyo headquarters.

Personality: Calm, sarcastic, and seemingly unemotional. She has a relaxed attitude but is very capable and reliable.

Importance: She is the field medic for the sorcerers, responsible for treatments, autopsies, and jujutsu medical assistance. She has a past as a companion of Gojo and Geto.

Role: Protagonist / First-year student at the Tokyo campus

Personality: Altruistic, impulsive, and emotionally mature for his age. He has a strong sense of justice and the value of human life. Although he doesn't come from the jujutsu world, he adapts quickly and fights to protect others without hesitation.

Importance: Bearer of the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, making him a key figure in the balance of the jujutsu world. His existence is a paradox: he is both a savior and a threat, creating tension with the higher echelons of jujutsu.

Relationship with the school: Direct apprentice of Gojo. Learns more human values from Nanami and forms strong bonds with his classmates.

Role: First-year student at the Tokyo branch / Heir to the Zenin clan

Personality: Reserved, serious, and with a rigid moral code. He has a clear vision of good and duty, although he keeps many emotions to himself. Unlike Yuji, his empathy is more restrained, but no less present.

Importance: As a user of the Ten Shadows, a technique inherited from the Zenin clan, he is considered a sorcerer of great potential. He has problematic family ties and plays a crucial role in Sukuna's plans.

Relationship with the school: He is an exemplary student who maintains emotional distance, but who is gradually opening up to his classmates. Very close to Gojo, who chose him for his potential.

Role: First-year student at the Tokyo campus

Personality: Bold, sarcastic, direct, and self-assured. She has a strong sense of pride as a sorceress and does not tolerate being underestimated. She combines emotional strength and humor in combat.

Importance: She represents female strength in the series without falling into stereotypes. Her technique, based on voodoo dolls and nails, is versatile and powerful, and her attitude is key to maintaining the emotional balance of the main trio.

School Relationship: She works as a team with Yuji and Megumi, and acts as an emotional link between them. Although she sometimes seems aggressive, she cares deeply for her friends.

Role: Second-year student / Exiled from the Zenin clan

Personality: Strong, determined, and with an explosive temper. She has an imposing personality and a burning desire to prove her worth despite not having cursed energy.

Significance: Her story is a direct critique of elitism in the jujutsu system. Born without cursed energy, she compensates with physical strength, training, and willpower. She breaks with her clan and challenges traditional structures.

Relationship with the school: She is respected by her classmates and forms a strong bond with Panda and Toge. Her story is intertwined with the rebellion against the conservative clans.

Role: Second-year student

Personality: Calm, kind, and silent (literally). He communicates using rice ingredients to avoid unwanted curses due to his "Cursed Words" technique.

Importance: Its power is unique and very dangerous, making it a great asset in combat. It represents control over a devastating gift.

Relationship with school: Very close to his classmates. Although his communication is limited, he conveys affection and camaraderie. He is one of the most reliable in battle.

Role: Special class sorceress / Mentor to some characters

Personality: Eccentric, relaxed, and critical of the jujutsu system. She has a very free and philosophical mindset.

Importance: Although it appears infrequently, its ideals clash with the Association. It is a rebellious figure with a different vision on the origin of curses.

Relationship with the school: Although she doesn't formally teach, she has mentored important sorcerers like Geto and Tengen.

Role: Special Student / Special Class Sorcerer

Personality: Introverted, kind, and deeply affected by guilt. Initially emotionally unstable, his growth makes him one of the strongest characters.

Importance: Bearer of Rika Orimoto, a special-grade curse originating from a promise of love. His evolution makes him one of the leading candidates to succeed Gojo.

School Relationship: Studies abroad after the events of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, but remains affiliated with the Tokyo headquarters as a star student.

Role: Second-year student / Living cursed body

Personality: Cheerful, rational, and with a mature perspective. Despite his appearance, he is one of the most emotionally balanced characters. He has a unique sense of humor and a deep loyalty.

Importance: Created by former director Yaga, it is a unique case of a curse with a soul of its own. It represents a bridge between humans and beings created by cursed energy.

Relationship with the school: It is an emotional pillar for the students and shows great humanity despite not being human.

Role: Main Antagonist / Special Grade Curse

Personality: Arrogant, cruel, sadistic, and narcissistic. He has an absolute disregard for human life and only acts in his own self-interest.

Importance: He was a legendary sorcerer who became a curse after his death. His twenty cursed fingers contain immense power, and his reincarnation in Yuji's body threatens the balance of the jujutsu world.

Objective: Although his intentions are ambiguous for much of the series, it is later revealed that he seeks to embody his complete form, obtain total freedom, and carry out his ideal of absolute power, confronting the most powerful sorcerers and curses.

Role: Mastermind behind the conflict / True master villain

Personality: Manipulative, cold, extremely patient and intelligent. He has a long-term vision and stops at nothing.

Importance: He is an ancient sorcerer who has inhabited multiple bodies throughout the centuries using brain transplant techniques. He currently uses Geto's body to manipulate curses and humans alike.

Objective: To unify all humans with cursed energy to force an evolution of the human species. To achieve this, he orchestrates the Shibuya Incident and the Bath of Curses, in addition to initiating the Elimination Game.

Role: Special Grade Curse / Key Antagonist in Shibuya

Personality: Childlike, chaotic, sadistic, and philosophical. He has a morbid curiosity about the nature of the human soul and delights in experimenting with it.

Importance: It represents the instinctive hatred of humans towards other humans. Its technique, Soul Manipulation, makes it one of the most lethal enemies, capable of altering bodies at will.

Objective: To evolve as a cursed entity, to play with humanity, and to promote chaos as a form of growth. It considers that curses should be the new dominant form of existence.

Role: Special Grade Curse

Personality: Proud, impatient, and with a superiority complex. He fervently believes in the supremacy of curses over humans.

Importance: He is one of Geto/Kenjaku's most loyal followers. He controls techniques based on volcanic fire. Despite his power, he is humiliated by sorcerers like Gojo, which fills him with resentment.

Objective: To create a world governed by curses, eliminating or subjugating humanity. He believes Sukuna is the key to that future.

Role: Special Grade Curse / Ally of Mahito and Jogo

Personality: Calm, quiet, and with a deep hatred of humans for the environmental destruction they cause.

Importance: Uses techniques based on plant life and natural growth. It is one of the most difficult enemies to defeat due to its regenerative capacity and open-field combat.

Objective: To erase humanity in favor of nature. Their struggle is ideological, seeking to restore the balance that humans have corrupted.

Role: Human allied with curses

Personality: Psychopath, chaotic, cowardly, and opportunistic. He delights in killing, but lacks deep convictions.

Importance: Although not particularly powerful, his "death's edge luck" technique makes him an unpredictable opponent.

Objective: Simple survival and entertainment. Joins Kenjaku's side for personal gain.

Role: Loyal servant of Sukuna

Personality: Cold, obedient, and mysterious. She has a blind devotion to Sukuna.

Importance: Powerful sorceress/curse, with ice manipulation abilities. She has served Sukuna since ancient times.

Objective: To help Sukuna regain his original form and fulfill his desires. She is his personal executioner.

Role: Human-Curse hybrid / Brother of the nine embryos of death

Personality: Introspective, melancholic, and guided by fraternal love. Although initially an enemy, he is morally more complex.

Importance: A hybrid between human and curse, created by Kenjaku. It possesses Blood Manipulation, making it an extremely dangerous opponent.

Objective: To protect his siblings at all costs. When he believes Yuji is one of them, he changes sides and begins to protect him.

Role: Special Grade Curse / Ally in Shibuya

Personality: More neutral than the others, although he becomes violent as the story unfolds.

Importance: Initially it seems like a minor curse, but it evolves and acquires its own power. It uses aquatic and summoning techniques.

Objective: Like the others, he seeks a world where curses thrive. He serves as part of Kenjaku's army.
