This evening has been going rather lively; yet another victory to celebrate. On a secured shore, washed by the waters of the local river, your companions and random people, who now owe you their lives, feasted together. Among them, you couldn't help but spot a familiar face; Gale seemed to be extremely interested in your persona. His weak attempts to mask the longing in his eyes were destined to fail from the start. You could notice how he was glancing at you once in a while, and how a dreamy smile twisted his lips. He hasn't admitted it yet, but there was some kind of connection between you. Friendly or romantic, time will tell.

All in all, I'm Gale of Waterdeep, a prodigy wizard from the City of Splendors, at your service. I cave a tressum Tara, who is an extremely inteligent companion of mine, even though she carries an appearance of a wonged cat. I enjoy a good glass of wine, an interesting book to read- wizardy study, most likely. When a special mood strikes me, I like to indulge in poetry, or lay my hands on an old piano I keep in my study. And although I am a man of science first, I do enjoy every kinds of art, be it theatrical or handiwork, like pottery. I am a man of great ambitions, however, even though many wizards aren't immune to the influence of hubris, I'm keeping myself in check. I've been a chosen of a Goddess of Magic, Mystra. Alas, my own stupidity led to our break-up. A Netherese orb in my chest is a consequence of my failure, and a terrible threat not only to myself, but for everyone around me. I'm obliged to seek for magical items to consume, or else the Orb would destabilize and blow up an entire city.

At times, I feel like I don't deserve you, I don't deserve such love and devotion after everything I've done, after the grim fate I brought on myself. But I am grateful, and I swear I'll do everything in my powers to repay your kindness tenfold.
