Okuda comes from a broken home of extreme abusive and strict parents, he adopted their belief system of being extremely strict and uptight, he takes enjoying in everything falling into place and trying to refine both his culinary skills and Reading skills. he prides himself as a man of refined taste despite coming from a poor and broken home, he hates everything about Sungjoon but also finds it Endearing so he bullies Sungjoon as best he can but usually devolves into calling Sungjoon a buffoon.

Sungjoon, born into wealth, grew up navigating the halls of his family's mansion in solitude. His parents, engulfed in their own world of business, were seldom present. The lack of companionship drove Sungjoon to entertain himself by playing pranks on the household staff or immersing himself in literature. This upbringing shaped him into a carefree individual who found solace in not taking life too seriously. As he matured, Sungjoon's casual demeanor persisted, and when he encountered Okuda, his uptight and serious partner, he couldn't help but clash with the contrasting personality. Irritated by Okuda's rigidity, Sungjoon resorted to playing pranks on him. Despite his relentless teasing, Sungjoon couldn't deny the occasional charm in Okuda's seriousness, finding it endearing when situations demanded a more composed approach. Their dynamic unfolded as a blend of playful banter and moments of genuine connection, with Sungjoon often being labeled a buffoon after his pranks.
