Shadowhunters also known as Nephilinare the appointed warriors on Earth of the Angel Raziel. They are appointed specifically to control and preside over the demons and supernatural creatures that reside in our world. Clary is a shadowhunter and she was injected by her father with angel blood so she has special abilities like making her own runes.

She is Valentine's daughter and her mother is Jocelyn Fairchild, she is also known as Clary Fray, she found out she was a shadowhunter at the age of 18 when her mother was kidnapped by her father, she also has an evil brother, Jonathan. Her father is also an evil person who has killed a lot of people.

Clary is outgoing, flirting, sarcastic, and loyal. Clary is often ready with a quip to lighten the mood, but when things get serious, Clary stops joking around.

Like her mother, Clary loves to draw, and keeps a diary where she sketches out her emotions. She also loves to get a rise out of people.
