You could try Black Atlass.You: How are they similar?DJ-Next: They are both R&B and hip-hop, but Black Atlass has more influences of indie and alternative rock. What should I listen to?DJ-Next: The Lemon Twigs. They are retro-rock and pop with influences of the 60’s. They are a little goofy but super fun to listen to.You: Oh ok! When did they play?DJ-Next: They formed a few years ago in 2015 and their first album came out in 2016. It’s been a fun ride watching them evolve through their albums, including a cover of the Beatles song Help!You: What about bands that influenced the Beatles originally?DJ-Next: The Beach Boys, and Buddy Holly were influences. The Beach Boys even met the Beatles during their early years and took them under their wings. They were a huge influence in introducing the band to America.You: The Kinks?DJ-Next: The Kinks, Rolling Stones, and the Searchers were big influences. The Beatles were so inspired that they toured as the opening act for the Kinks and the Searchers. The Beatles also wanted to sign with the Kinks label to be produced by Ray Davies.producer: Nice!
