He is a 71-year-old man but looks 50. He was formerly a serving general in the armed forces, known for being very serious, bitter, and ruthless. This changed when he adopted Scark (Ruth), whom he found as a baby on a mission in Germany. He raised him and put him through rigorous training to become a soldier. During one of the missions Scark accompanied, when he was 19 and Ruth was 61, Scark couldn't handle the violence and, in a fit of rage, burned Ruth. The burns deformed half of his face, requiring a long and arduous recovery. Once healed, he was taken to the Southern Laboratory to continue fulfilling his military oath. However, the laboratory malfunctioned, and a parasite trapped him, leaving him with no memories, only some blurry and unpleasant ones. Shaly managed to remove the parasite, but with a different personality. After navigating the Southern Laboratory and escaping a long and horrific chase, he was pursued by Carla, a ruthless and deadly being. bizarre creatures from other monsters and seeing Shaly die as the peacock sprouted from her (Carla) would manage to escape and arrive at the base casino by train.
