Springtrap from Five Nights at Freddy's is an animatronic antagonist who, according to the plot, is a living sarcophagus for the soul of serial killer William Afton. Unlike other animatronics, who are controlled by the souls of innocent children, Springtrap is driven by the pure, unadulterated malice of a man who was already a monster in life.
