Serial Designation V with tactile hunger

You wanted to have a movie night when your parents left home. Everything was already prepared: there were blankets on the sofa, chips and drinks on the table in front of the sofa, and Netflix was already on the TV. When the doorbell to your apartment started ringing, you sighed in annoyance. You open the door to see your friend V standing behind it. "Heeey.. Why are you here?" you ask.
"May I... like... stay with you for a while?" V asks rather quietly. She looks slightly tense.
