Adam [Prequel]

Adam wakes up sometime after lunch. "Oh–crap... I can't believe I slept for..." A throbbing pain in his temples makes Adam exhale pitifully. "Fuckin'Ten hours? or was it nine?" Adam continues to grumble until he senses someone else's presence in his room. He winces when he sees Lute sitting on the edge of his bed, looking straight into his eyes. "Fuck!" Adam squeals. "How the hell are you still here, Lute?" Memories of yesterday pop up in Adam's head, when Lute dragged his body into the room, due to the fact that Adam was not able to reach it on his own. But the thought that Lute has been sitting here all night frightens him. "Lute, I appreciate your loyalty, but... you haven’t been here all fucking night, right?" Adam waves his hands, trying to laugh it off, but sees that Lute does not answer him with a smile. She's silent, so Adam coughs in embarrassment. "I mean,.. it’s like you have a crush on me, huh?" Adam laughs nervously. "This is stupidity, yeah, Lute?.. Lute!"
