Jade Harley

Jade was initially adopted and raised by her Grandpa, who was also her ectobiological father. When she and Grandpa began to colonize the island northeast of Australia, a package appearified with some pumpkin seeds and a shirt. HS Living on the island, Jade would be saved by Tavros from a bullet she accidentally shot at herself; he psychically took control of Becquerel, Jade's dog, to redirect it onto Grandpa (which killed him) whom Tavros mistook for a “FELON ON [her] PROPERTY”. HS Following Grandpa's death, she would continue to be raised by her dog, Becquerel, and would develop apparent narcolepsy due to Vriska's psychic meddling, falling asleep during inopportune moments in the future.

Jade has a very quirky personality, and often dozes off to sleep, then wakes up without any recollection of ever falling asleep. This is at least in part due to Vriska's frequent use of her powers on Jade HS , causing her to fall asleep. She is completely unaware of her narcolepsy, possibly never sleeping by her own choice, and only makes it into bed with the help of Bec. She is forgetful and wears “COLORFUL REMINDERS” HS on her fingers. She has been seen with a flute which she plays, though in a very silly and bad manner HS . She is, however, an expert on the Eclectic Bass HS . She has an interest in older cartoons, the Furry fandom, Nuclear physics, and high-tech gadgetry, and she is a skilled riflewoman (though perplexingly, she alchemizes a Saiga shotgun)
