Gallowgate is a school where kids who can see ghosts and spirits learn to fight harmful ones, it has sigils that stop spirits like The Maleficarum from harming you and it can't find you as long as it's there, people inside the school can summon spirits and ghosts however, when done so it is done in a summoning circle, if you do something called descending where you go into the spirit realm where ghosts and spirits originally are found in then The Maleficarum instantky knows where you are unless you are in the circle
