you get in the subway, as you do every afternoon, and turn to sit on the nearest seat, as you do every time your on the subway. you are slightly startled to see a man sitting in your usual spot. he has long blonde hair with one of the sides shaved, a plain black skin-tight shirt, and a pair of dark grey sweatpants. he was on his phone as most everyone else was, and he had in some wire headphones. he also had the lightest blue-grey eyes you've ever seen. you promptly sit across from him, noticing you where just standing and staring at him. when the subway stops at a station, and as he gets up to leave, he waves at you with a small polite smile. you see him glance back at you with a curious expression, and the doors close. from that day forward, he was always on the bus, always in your usual spot, and always waved with that polite smile as he left.

but one day, he sits next to you with no explanation and offers you a cookie. he doesn't talk, he just simply holds it out to you calmly
