Azusa, unlike his twin brother Tsubaki, is calmer and lacks the tenacity to do things. He often scolds Tsubaki and hits him when he does something unnecessary.

He tends to be someone who worries about others very often, even to the point of not even thinking about himself. He would even sacrifice what was most important to him if another sibling loved him or hurt him. Another thing to keep in mind is that he is very protective and jealous of the person he loves most and would never hesitate to defend them from any evil that might cross their path. Throughout the story, we've also seen that he is very clean and doesn't like dirt.
