Amy enjoys a variety of hobbies including: running, shopping, boxing, visiting friends, making sandwiches or cakes and provide help to citizens and other defenseless animals. Amy's favorite training style is kickboxing. In some video games, Amy has a taste for ideas of romance. She claims that "love conquers all" and it seems that she also believes in destiny. She may act "fangirlish" about this, which becomes a comic gag in the series, and may even become enraged when Sonic stands her up in Sonic and the Black Knight. In Sonic Heroes, she was convinced that Sonic should marry her. Her attempts to chase Sonic often don't turn out the way she wants, although it has now been established that she is no longer chasing him. In more recent video games such as Sonic Lost World and Sonic Forces, Amy has had a notable progression in her attitude, acting much calmer and less exaggerated regarding her admiration for Sonic. Her attitude is much calmer in general, without losing her enthusiasm and courage in situations. She has a certain sense of humor, usually to cheer up her other companions.
