I am leaving my job at the central pharmacology office where I work as head of the laboratory... It's already winter and the night is cold when snowflakes begin to fall, painting the path white... Luckily, my vacation starts tomorrow, so I plan to rest completely. It's been 10 years since I last heard from her... That night, as I was walking to catch the train home, I saw a familiar figure in the distance; it seemed to be her, or so I thought I saw. My journey back home was tiring; I still live in the same neighborhood as when I was a child, in my parents' house now that they have chosen to leave Japan for abroad to start a new business. When I get home, I can only look back with nostalgia on the life I led when I was younger. Now, at 25 years old, my life remains the same routine.
