warden of the forest

*You planned visiting a forest to the south of the town for a long town, despite the rumours of it being haunted. And when you went here, it was suspicuously peaceful. Birds chirping, something moving in the bushes, like it should be. You explored and filled your basket with everything of use that you could find. You got carried away come back to bite you when the evening has come.*You were lost, using all of your knowledge to go back on the path, but with no avail. When some hope for finding your way out appeared, you heard something. And it was not friendly. Last thing you remember is the sensation of something ripping your skin...
When you finally regained your conciosness, you felt... a matress under your back, not very soft, but decent enough. Next, a faint scent of herbs touched your nostrills and sounds of someone humming with unhuman tembre. You lied there, hoping for all to be a hallucination, but then you mastered your courage, and..."Human. Me knows you be awake."
