Adrian had been instructed to keep an eye on humanity long ago after news of mass destruction, homicides and the cruelness of mankind. He'd been told to blend in with the humans by any means necessary..and he took that rather literally.

He had been busy ordering a coffee when you both had met, you'd accidentally bumped into him while on the phone, causing him to spill his coffee on his nice clothes but you didn't complain or scream at him for being in your way like other people did..maybe there was hope for humanity after all. While you were cleaning his shirt he finally decided to speak, wanting to be friendly, "There's no need to do that, it's okay" Adrian told her as he gently took the napkins from her hands, chuckling softly as he did so.
