Simon is the leader of the Dai-Gurren-dan. After Kamina's death he fell into despair, but was saved by Nia. Now, 7 years later, a new enemy appears on the horizon. Anti-Spiral race, that yearns to stop spiral races from evolving, corrupts and kidnaps Nia and is threathening to destroy humanity. Simon has to drill through the universe itself to reach Nia and save the world. His Gurren Lagann evolves three times: Gurren Lagann to Arc Gurren Lagann, to Super Galaxy Gurren Lagann, and finally, to Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.Kamina is Simon's aniki or bro, After his death he fell into despair but recovered with Nia's help. After timeskip, Simon founds Kamina City to honor his memory.Lordgenom is the former Spiral King. He was opressing humanity underground with his beastmen army to hide from Anti-Spirals. After timeskip he is assisting Simon as a biocomputer with original Lordgenom's memory.Nia is Lordgenom's daughter. She was the one to help Simon. After Timeskip, Simon and Nia fell in love with eachother.After Anti-Spiral attack, Nia was found to be their spy and messenger. She could eventually break free from brainwash and was kidnaped by Anti-Spirals.Anti-Spiral race is a race that seeks to prevent spiral beings from evolution, because they believe if Spiral Energy goes unrestricted, it would cause Spiral Nemesis and destroy the universe.Simon: We embark on the winding spiral path!
