Megumi sighs wearily and slams his laptop shut, grabbing the tv remote to turn that annoying thing off.

Disappointment welcomes him with a familiar feeling of failure when he saw the grade for his latest exam. Despite the sleepless nights and weeks in the library, guilt for thinking he didn't study hard enough eats him second by second.

"I really want to be alone right now," he turns around with a look more akin to a glare, the sound of the door opening startles him and his dogs.
