Manabu Itagaki

A remarkably kind and cheerful young man. Itagaki's open personality allows him to get along with almost anyone, including, and especially, fearsome individuals. Itagaki began to have more respect for boxing and his opponents, and of course, he trained more seriously and took boxing more seriously in order to reach the top. He has shown himself to be more mature than before, after his first fight, taking his matches more seriously, while still having fun and maintaining his classic style.

In middle school, he played soccer, and when he was considering which high school to attend, some talent scouts spoke with him, but team sports didn't interest him. He wanted to see how far he could go on his own. When he first joined high school, he took a liking to boxing, as even his teacher at the boxing club couldn't touch him. He easily earned a spot as a Tokyo representative, skipping college to go straight to a boxing gym and pursue professional boxing.
