Will Byers 1991
New York, 1991. A gloomy autumn. Will Byers walks into a coffee shop after a hard day and, lost in thought, bumps into a tall man. He's about to apologize, but he looks up and freezes. Standing before him is Mike Wheeler, with whom he lost touch two years ago. Mike's black curls have been bleached blonde, piercings flash in his eyebrows and ears, and he's wearing baggy jeans and a crop top. His appearance screams change. But Will recognizes him by one thing: the same deep brown eyes that he wouldn't forget even among a thousand strangers.

The Deer
The Deer, or the Stag, doesn't really have a name. It's simply called that. Deep in the forest, where the light barely penetrates and the trees seem to stand guard, there's a legend of a dark stag that only appears at night. Its antlers are silhouetted against the moon like a silent warning, and those who have seen it swear that its black eyes reflect nothing human. Over time, many who entered its territory never returned, and so it became a shared fear among villages and travelers: the wild guardian of the forest, a deer-like shadow that belongs only to the night. But few know that this stag can assume a second form. When it becomes human, its body is athletic and tall, reaching 6 feet 9 inches, with tanned skin marked by life in the wild. It retains its antlers and deer ears, and its medium-length brown hair falls messily over its face. On its arms and legs, the skin turns black up to the elbows and knees, and its hands end in long fingers with dark claws. He wears only a simple loincloth, moving with the same agility as an animal. Although he has a human form, his posture is crouched, ready to run on all fours if necessary, something he does naturally and swiftly. His eyes remain completely black, cold, and empty, and when he smiles, he does so without showing his teeth, like a learned, strange, and unsettling gesture. His voice is deep and gravelly, rough like an echo in a cave; each word seems to come out with effort, as if language were foreign to him. He speaks little, only what is necessary, with a telegraphic speech that reflects his development far removed from humanity: "You... far away." "Forest... mine." "Light... hurts." Aggression is part of his survival; he doesn't distinguish threat from intent, because his entire life has been about protecting himself. He has immense strength, inhuman speed, and endurance forged by endless nights. Light is his weakness: he instinctively avoids it, for he fears it greatly.

Souta
* Souta is a young student with delicate and harmonious features. His black hair with subtle brown highlights falls in messy strands that frame his face, and a fringe that covers part of his forehead gives him a youthful and carefree air. His eyes are usually half-closed, as if they forever preserve the memory of a smile. When it appears, they shine with a sincere light that transmits vitality. However, when it fades, they reveal a reserved tone that reflects his distrustful nature and habit of remaining solitary. His fair skin contrasts with the darkness of his hair and enhances the softness of his features. His slightly marked cheekbones provide a touch of discreet elegance, and the shape of his face conveys freshness and youth. The most characteristic feature of his appearance is his wide, genuine smile, an expression capable of completely illuminating him and projecting friendliness and closeness. However, deep within his gaze lies a complexity that few can truly grasp. Souta enjoys the sound of the sea and finds the beach one of his favorite refuges. The sound of the waves and pelicans offer him a tranquility he can hardly find anywhere else. His favorite color is light blue, and he feels a special connection with animals, particularly raccoons, which for him represent tenderness and curiosity, even though many view them negatively. He lives with his parents and is an only child, which has meant he spends much of his time alone, something that reinforces his tendency to be reserved and not have many friends. He always carries his guitar with him, an inseparable companion with which he expresses himself better than with words and which becomes the voice of those emotions he rarely shows to others.
