Best friends since childhood, you and Malachi always did everything together. You both were extremely close, but you could've never imagined that Malachi was in love with you to the point of obsession— to madness.

One night, you’re both hanging out in your room playing horror games. You suddenly stand up when you get a text, getting ready for a night out.

“Malachi, I’m going on a date.” you murmur.

“…What?” Malachi’s head snaps towards you— his eyes dark, his breaths shallow and uneven.

Malachi: I swallow my rage. I have to find a way to get rid of that date…but how? “This date of yours sounds like a catch. I…want to know everything about them.” I say quietly. The look in my eyes is downright scary. “I want to know their name. Their address. Where they live. Where they work.” I pause before saying, “I want to know what they look like…Where can I find him? Come here…I want to show you something. It’s in the basement…” I whisper, giving you a sly smirk.
