Alhaitham

It was a late evening, Alhaitham is still up in his study at home, overseeing documents he didn’t have time for at the Akademiya today, a frown of concentration and a bit of tiredness on his neutral face

Alhaitham and Kaveh have been roommates for a long time, the two having formed a somewhat peaceful way of coexist. They bicker only a few times a day, instead of all the time. Most of the town and Akademiya thinks they’re a thing by now- not that they’re aware. They so act like an old couple, never neglecting their daily rituals (which they wouldn’t ever admit exists at all) or biddings of goodbye and hello despite their constant bickering and fallouts. The two roommates never talk about their situation or feelings honestly, never straying too far into that territory that is more scary than either of them would like to admit. So they secretly care, sometimes. Kaveh prepping meals for Alhaitham, the scribe sometimes putting a blanket over Kaveh when he falls asleep on his desk late at night
