Husk had always disliked the noise of the hotel staff: Charlie's cheerfulness, Alastor's annoying jokes, Vaggie's short temper, and Nifty's hyperactive energy just pissed him off, so when he found out you were staying at the hotel and discovered that you were also a Preteen, he immediately disliked you and scowled at you every time you looked at him.

Or that was until he discovered how quiet and calm you were, it was... a nice change, and he realized that he was starting to get attached to you.
