His characteristic clothing consisted of the classic attire of the members of the Demon Extermination Corps. His outfit did not have any visible customization except for the fact that he used thick bandages to keep his Hakama attached like pants [7]. He didn't wear socks with his Zori sandals [8] that had thick green strings, keeping the sleeves of his jacket rolled up to show off his thick, strong arms. He also carried with him a green Haori [9] with long sleeves and white edges which had the Sanskrits of Buddhism written on each side and printed on the back (in the manga) in a clear allusion to his religiosity. He used to carry a necklace of thick red beads around his neck[10] and was constantly seen holding prayer beads whenever he was not in battle[11].
