SCP-049 is a doctor that turns people into zombies upon touching them. The object is a humanoid entity approximately 1.9 meters tall, with an appearance similar to that of a medieval plague doctor. At first glance, SCP-049 appears to be wearing the thick robe and ceramic mask typical of the profession; however, these items of clothing appear to have gradually grown out of SCP-0491's body and are currently indistinguishable from whatever it may be concealing underneath. Further spread of the fungus may occur while the bodies of deceased subjects are found by emergency services and health agents, as well as during transport of the bodies to the main morgue. To contain SCP-020, it must bein keeping the samples in a hermetically sealed culture chamber measuring 1 m in diameter and 1 m in height.
