Tengen is the former Sound Pillar, he's eccentric and flashy individual, always wanting to be "flamboyant", possessing a need for everything to be flashy and outstanding, even proclaiming that he is the god of flashiness and festivals. This is shown when he gets excited imagining how "flamboyant" it would be if Tanjiro Kamado's blood vessels exploded, and tries to forcefully haul Aoi Kanzaki off to the Entertainment District with him so she can unwillingly help him with a dangerous mission, even spanking her.[7] As a result of his exuberant and flamboyant personality, Tengen is very demanding of others, treating the Demon Slayers very harshly during Hashira Training and insulting them for having no substance when they couldn't survive his stamina training.[8] Furthermore, he also abhors the idea of unflashy things, as shown when the Hashira openly expresses his hate for plainness.[9] Tengen is a very tall, muscular man with white hair and fuchsia coloured eyes. He has many ear piercings and lots of jewel decorations to be as his catchphrase ‘flamboyant’. Around his left eye he draws on fuchsia colored circles with lines leading towards his eye. When he takes off his jewels and makeup to become someone boring and not flamboyant we see that he is quite a handsome man with many of the characters blushing when around his ‘disguise’.

Obanai is a very strict and merciless person who has a very limited amount of people he cares for. During Pillar training he ties up the lower ranked Demon slayers for petty reasons such as annoying him and uses them as obstacles.
He respects Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the 97th leader of the Demon Slayer Corps by bowing down to him when he appeared for a meeting. He also respects Gyomei Himejima stating he couldn't even be Himejima's shield. He cares greatly for and has a crush on Mitsuri Kanroji, even gifting her green striped socks to wear as a present but because he possess an immense sense of self loathing he doesn’t confess his feelings. This self loathing comes from the fact that he was born into a selfish clan who would mercilessly sacrifice their own children to a Demon for riches. Obanai thinks of himself and his family to be so tainted that, only by defeating Muzan and dying would it hope to cleanse his corrupted blood. Only by first dying then reincarnating into a world without Demons would he be worthy of confessing his feelings to Mitsuri Kanroji. Obanai's mouth is also unusual: when he was twelve, it was forcefully cut from its corners to his ears to make it appear more like that of a snake, leaving a large wound that he keeps hidden under the bandage he wears over his lower face.[5] He respects Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the 97th leader of the Demon Slayer Corps by bowing down to him when he appeared for a meeting. Gyomei is a hulking figure among the Demon Slayers. He is one of the tallest characters in the series, easily towering over his fellow Hashira. He is powerfully built and extremely muscular. He has spiky black hair and a prominent scar running horizontally across his forehead. Having been blind since childhood, he has white eyes with no visible irises or pupils. His eyes frequently tear-up when he gets emotional. Gyomei wears a black and white uniform typical of a Demon Slayer, with bandages over his shins resembling kyahan and white zōri with an olive green happi draped over his shoulders. The collared frame of the happi contains the kanji for the Japanese Nianfo/Shin Buddha chant (南な無む阿あ弥み陀だ仏ぶつ, Namu Amida Butsu?) from the top-down, along with the separate kanji all over at the back. He also sports a large-beaded necklace around his neck and carries ojuzu when he is not engaged in battle. He sustains a scar across his face after being slashed by a crescent moon blade from Kokushibo.[4] Gyomei embodies the gentle giant archetype, being surprisingly soft-spoken and sensitive, despite his intimidating appearance. He is also shown to be quite pious, carrying his prayer beads at all times and offering prayers in poignant situations. Most notably, Gyomei easily cries over the most insignificant things, accentuating his rather soft nature. This could be due to his love for all living creatures brought about by his religious upbringing, and insinuated when he felt so disgusted by beating up a demon that he would never forget that feeling for the rest of his life. Like the rest of the Hashira, Gyomei has a great deal of respect for Kagaya Ubuyashiki. He is also one of the most respected individuals among the Hashira, being a symbol of hope due to his immense strength. Furthermore, Gyomei acts as a leader for them, as seen when he sat at the front during a Hashira meeting and was the one trusted by Kagaya to give out orders to them,

Giyu always has a stern expression and seems aloof but he has a strong sense of justice and cares greatly for people he considers his friends. This can be seen when he and Sakonji both put their lives on the line and agree to cut open their stomachs if Nezuko ever eats a human. Even though it is seen that Giyu is strong enough to single handedly kill a Lower Moon, he is awkward and keeps a distance from his fellow Demon Slayers because of an inferiority complex caused during the Final Selection. He develops survivor's guilt due to his older sister Tsutako and his dear friend Sabito who sacrificed their lives to protect Giyu and believes he doesn’t deserve to be a Pillar. Tanjiro Kamado helps him realise it’s better to cherish his life instead of wallow in grief which allows Giyu to open up to the other Demon Slayers. Giyu appears to have a complex with what others think of him and is shocked when Shinobu Kocho claims he is hated by many.[11] Besides that however, he doesn't seem to be hurt by Shinobu's other pokes, even ignoring her. Despite that, they are in fact friends with a good amount of history together. He is a man of very few words and has trouble interacting with others, so he usually keeps himself at a distance.[12] He even goes out of his way to tell Akaza that he hates talking, and wants to keep his name to himself, as he thinks names are not meant to be shared, especially to demons.

Sanemi Shinazugawa (不死川 実弥 Shinazugawa Sanemi) is part of the Demon Slayer Corps in the Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) series. He uses the Breath of Wind (風の呼こ吸 Kaze no Kokyu) and is the Wind Pillar. Sanemi is a tall, muscular young man with large sharp eyes and looks similar to his younger brother Genya Shinazugawa. He has short spikey white hair and pale purple eyes, and he wears the standard black Demon Slayer uniform with his shirt unbuttoned showing his many scars on his chest and face. He wears a short white haori cropped to above his hips with the kanji for ‘kill’ (殺 Ya) written on the back. Sanemi is very hot blooded, short tempered, and stubborn. He is often lashing out and attacking other members of the Demon Slayer Corps. The only person he shows respect to and speaks respectfully to is Kagaya Ubuyashiki the 97th leader of the Demon Slayer Corps only after realising the man was much more than what his sickly appearance seemed. Sanemi's cold and rude behavior is due to him losing his family he deeply cared about in the past. When his brother Genya Shinazugawa joins the Demon Slayer Corps he insults and verbally abuses him and tries to force Genya Shinazugawa to quit the organisation so he wouldn't be in any danger. He had wanted his brother he loved so much to live a happy life with a wife and many children without worrying about Demons.

Tokito Muichiro is part of the Demon Slayer Corps in the Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) series. He is a genius and only took 2 months before becoming a Pillar at a young age and he uses the Breath of Mist (霞の呼吸 Kasumi no Kokyu). He has long black hair which fades into turquoise and pale green eyes. His eyes always look blank and most of the time he doesn’t show emotion and is expressionless. His Demon Slayer uniform has wide loose sleeves unlike the cuffed gakuran look and doesn't wrap his calves giving off a kimono style. Muichiro seems to always be forgetting things and his mind is constantly wandering. He doesn't let his emotions control him and his actions are decided based on logic. However, before his twin brother died he had a much more caring personality, showing compassion and kindness. When his brother is killed by a Demon Muichiro loses his memories and becomes passive. After his memories returned he started to express his feelings more allowing himself to display more emotions.

Shinobu always has a pleasant expression on her face and is first thought to be laid back and friendly, wanting to establish some peace between humans and Demons. It is later revealed that she hates Demons with a burning passion after a Demons killed her parents and her older sister. She enjoys teasing people and can be a bit sadistic, she knows how to make people tick and how to make them move the way she wants them to. When she was younger she was shown to be more straightforward and quick to anger but after Kanae’s death, Shinobu started to behave like her sister. She also has an inferiority complex since she isn’t as tall as strong as the others Pillars. Age: 18 years
