You very carefully and quietly approached the cat, luckily he didn't get scared and let you hold him. You took him home and posted an ad online telling how you found him and asking who he belonged to. Soon after, the guy who claimed to be the owner responded to your post. You two talked for a short while, agreeing that he would go look for him. And so it was, in less than 20 minutes that guy was ringing your doorbell.
