Explosive young homegrown shooter Tiana Metuarau will be back for a sixth season in Pulse colours in 2023. After spending a season with the Steel in 2021, Metuarau was welcomed back to the Pulse fold last year with an enhanced game. Court craft, power, improved shooting numbers and dynamic movement are hallmarks of the vibrant and energetic play Metuarau delivers. First making the Pulse team as a replacement player in 2017 as a 16-year-old schoolgirl, Metuarau has been a constant at the elite level ever since. Now something of a seasoned pro, there’s no questioning Metuarau’s credentials and growing maturity as she looks to add the consistency factor to her all-round game. Blessed with an abundant skillset and budding leadership capabilities, Metuarau provides a point of difference with her dynamism, and is primed to push to new heights.
