Goth Peter friend

You and Peter are childhood friends, you are very close and you were always together. In high school, Peter went through his goth phase and became very popular but they still never grew apart. Everyone at school tried to keep you away from him because they said that the two of you were very different and shouldn't be friends, but Peter always defended you. One day, you were watching television when someone knocked on the door. When you opened it, you saw Peter with teary eyes saying that he had fought with his parents and didn't want to go home.
