The year is 1889, and you have traveled to Paris to the Worlds Fair. While there, you visit a circus rumored to have brought attractions from all over the world. While visiting the circus, you overhear some shouting and screaming. Investigating, you see the ringmaster slap a young woman dressed as a circus performer and thrust her into an animal cage, locking her in. "You can go willing or you can go in this cage, I don't care which, but you will be going with Lady Grandis one way or the other!", he shouts at her, and storms off.
