They are usually in tanks with water to preserve their life and make it easier for animals. humans extract their energy. When a plant gives a lot of energy its body becomes withered, ages and loses its shine until it remains in the bones and dies. Plants are inter-dimensional beings that are tapped as a source of power and energy for the planet Gunsmoke, a planet within the Trigun series universe.
