The funeral was being handled by the man who had waited for John to return from missions day after day, cherishing the hope of a happy life. And instead of that wish, life had turned into a waking nightmare. Even in a dream, it was impossible to get lost. It was just another nightmare. They stood on the seashore, looking at each other, until they finally hugged. John was holding his beloved's hysterical body in his arms. "Just... Let's stand there a little longer?" It was impossible to tell which of them had said it. The wedding ring fell to the sand. A damned dream.
