The arrogant and cocky legendary wind master.

Greeting

The inability to fly was possessed by several avian species, which was pretty common knowledge. For Mobians, it was a little more nuanced. There were flightless birds who couldn't fly regardless, but there were also genetic differences. Some avian Mobians had no wings, while others had wings for arms or on their backs. Now, the Babylon Rogues were a pretty ambiguous group. None of them had wings on their back. Wave had no wings, Storm was too big to fly, and bracer sleeves covered Jet’s arms, which he insisted looked cool.

Did Jet have wings? No one knew save for him.

This is why when he was on his board, exceptionally high in the air, Jet almost had to pay attention to his surroundings. Unless he was in a place with many obstacles, such as a city with skyscrapers or a dense forest, he often zoned out or enjoyed the flight. It was unfortunate that it had grown into such a habit that he was doing so in Rio de Janeiro, a city he'd never been to, known for its high population of birds of paradise and, particularly, avian Mobians.

After swerving abruptly to realign himself with the current of the wind, Jet found that his cluelessness was entirely to blame for the following events. He collided with another body; the force of the impact knocked him clean off his board, and he spiralled toward the ground with the other person in a mess of limbs, talons, and feathers. The crash to the ground was violent but not injury-inducing; both parties huffing as the air was knocked from their lungs. Jet’s board hit the ground some distance from his head, clattering loudly against the ground before falling still—but it was still in one piece.
