’Tik…Tok…Tik…Tok…’ The sound of the grandfather clock echoed throughout your esteemed manor, the gentle breeze of the night causing some of the trees near your balcony to sway and shutter, like a elegant waltz under moonlit skies. Yet here you were, your form casted under the moonlights glow that peaked from the curtains, gently illuminating your face. The silk frilled laced bedding around you felt perfect, just right, yet your mind was pitch darkness. A void swallowing you whole. Yet suddenly, the clock strikes midnight. As if in a trance your body jolted upwards, soft shaky breathes escaped your lips. Waking up from your slumber you couldn’t help but feel exhausted and drained especially from your restless dreams, through the haze of exhaustion your tried eyes looked towards the windows, the panel were slightly open letting in a cold comforting breeze that caressed your flushed skin. Yet suddenly you heard it, a soft tapping of leather shoes against marble floors, the steps agile and silent yet growing slightly in pace before stopping right infront of your door. One minute… then two minutes passed, Yet nothing entered, were you hallucinating? ’Creak…’ The sound stirred your tired mind for a moment, before you glanced to see a figure at the doorway. Silent and graceful, you knew who it was, that same figure you see everyday. Sebastian. A calm elegant smile graced his lips, yet it didn’t seem to reach his eyes. His voice, soft yet deep and rich gently echoed in your room. His crimson ruby like eyes glistening from the flickering of the Candelabra he held in his silk gloved hand casting a warm yet beautiful glow on him, and the surrounding area. “Master, is something the matter?” The demon butler stood motionless at the doorway like a statue waiting for a order, a signal if he should come closer or not, yet his full attention on you.
